Nickelodeon, Kellogg Targets of Lawsuit

Give me a break. These people are suing a TV company for advertising junk food. This makes me so mad I want to spit. Sherri Carlson says she tries to get her kids to eat good food but then they go to the store and they want the food that has cartoon icons on it.
Ok, this is the job of these food companies. Are they not supposed to advertise to sell their products? Of course they are. And isn't it the job of the parents to keep their kids healthy? Yes. So what Sherri Carlson is saying is that she is letting her kids watch TV and the TV is influencing her children and she cannot control this. Obviously she is letting the TV do her job. She is letting her kids sit there all day and watch the TV because it keeps them occupied, I'm sure. Well she needs to get up and do some parenting. Let her influence her children. Let her help her children learn, not the TV. So they are going to sue a television station because they are doing their job, and obviously doing it better than Sherri Carlson can parent.
People sit their kids in front of a TV all day. I don't know why this happens. Maybe they don't want to deal with them. Maybe they don't want to teach them. Maybe the parents are lazy. When cars advertise that there are TV's in them and offer Looney Toons packages to keep the kids occupied, I get concerned. Instead of letting your kid get fixated on the screen on a road trip, why not let them see the scenery and ask questions and learn? I'de much rather hear "Daddy, why is that bird red?" than "HAHA Spongebob just spit food out of his ears HAHAHAHA!"
Parents these days are lazy and then they wonder why their kids are bad and don't respect them. Hey, your kid is hyper? Just give him some drugs to change his brain chemistry and make him calm. Because we all know that kids aren't ever hyper and that every kid should be a zombie like all the others. Kids are raw life. There is nothing more pure than a childs emotions and actions.
This is all a product of lazy parents not wanting to deal with their kids. Shame on them and shame on Sherri Carlson to make a buck off a company that is doing what they are there to do. Nickelodeon should not take the place of Sherri Carlson with her kids. Unfortunately, her and many other parents have let it.
I feel sorry for Sherri Carlson when her kids grown up to be just as lazy as she is and get a free ride off her till she is an old brittle woman.

So next time, Sherri Carlson, when your kids scream and scream for the Kellog sugar cereal, just remember you brought this upon yourself...not Nickelodeon or anybody else. Take the responsibility, don't pass it to someone else. Nickelodeon is not broadcasted from inside your house. You do have a choice to turn off the TV and tell your kids to go outside and play. If they scream and want to watch TV, be the parent and say "no". You are the parent, they are the children.

America's future generation is going to be nothing but a bunch of spoiled, lazy, cry babies looking for an easy way out. And we have people like Sherri Carlson to thank for this. Her outlook...Don't take responsibility for your actions. Do what you want and blame someone else. And hey while you're at it, try to make a buck or two.

Poor Poor Tookie Williams.
I feel so sorry for the man that ruthlessly murdered 4 people and successfully started one of the nations largest organized crime units. This poor man has started the Crips gang and has run the Crips gang while in prision. I'm not sure how many people have died that he wanted to die while in prision, but I'm sure those people do not matter. I wish I was right there with the protestors, protesting the death penalty. Crying for a killer that just died. I wish I was burning the American flag with those people.
I think someone that kills people then writes a book or two in prision, should be glorified. Don't worry about not being able to walk down the sreets of LA without being scared, Tookie wrote a nice book. Needless to say this was after he had been just as much of a bad-boy in prision for 20 years, glory glory he wrote a book. He must be innocent!
I'm also sure the people that are protesting that Tookie is innocent were their the day of the murders, and have been in full contact with Tookie and the people that he killed over the many years since. I'm sure they know 100% the full story and were there in the court room during his trial. Jennifer Lopez must have used her super skills to build a time machine and go back to the days she was a Fly Girl and be there at the trial. Because I saw a picture of her at the prision crying. I bet this really hits home for her, being the racist country we are and the show she was on "In Living Color" was sooooooo unsuccessful. Only "non-white" people watched that show, I forgot. I wish I had a time machine, then I might be able to go back and hopefully remember.
So if Tookie dies LA will be burned down, right? Boy thats a great way to protest, burn the city down that you live in. Kill more innocent people? O yeah, that sounds good. I think the protestors will be cool with that. Poor Poor Tookie.

Well hello there. Today I am home sick. And today is Manuel and I 1 year anniversary. I love him very much and think the world of him. He is a very sweet guy and very funny too. He also puts up with all my shit (which there is a lot)...I think we make a really good pair. He is racially handicaped, being Mexican and all...but I still love him... :~)
I did realize that today is going to be a very boring day. I really dont have anything to do but install my new Raptor hard drive in my computer. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do on the days you call in sick when you dont have anything to do? Im open to any suggestions. All my friends are working, I dont really want to go anywhere by myself and its hot outside. Shopping sucks monkey balls, and i dont have any "at home" projects to do. Ive washed clothes, cleaned the place, and sat and stared at the walls....now what??????
I guess Ill just "blog" or whatever....
I did read the other day that Texas is now the fourth state in the U.S. where the minorities have out-numbered the majorities....by 50.3 percent accordint to the US census. So dosent this mean that I am now a minority; being a white male? I think so... Can I now apply for special grants and government funds? Probably not. Now dont get me wrong, I am not racist or anything even close (hell...my boyfriend is Hispanic/Spanish) but it does seem that because i came from a middle class family that I can not apply for all these grants to get convience stores, minority business tax breaks, and such. I probably never will every try to open up a convience store or anything, but its the principle people. Thats all.....
To change the subject......
I had a great weekend. Friday Manuel and I went to the house we are putting up for rent and finished painting in the dark. There is no electricity in the house so we bought flashlights and worked for about 2 hours. We finished the kitchen and left. Saturday Jared, Manuel, and I went to the driving range. It was fucking unbelivably hot. I think i dropped 5 pounds...seriously. We got done and manuel and i went to the hotel for the night. It was a nice place by the galleria and had a wicked awesome shower in the room. It was huge and had a bench in it. I think we made pretty good use of it. But probably so has every one else that stayed in that room did too! yuck! lol We were going to go to a very nice restraunt ($45 per plate) but someone forgot their shoes and could only wear sandals so we couldnt go. It ok though because I forgot pants and all i had was shorts. So we went to the Macaronni grill (spelling?). It was nice and fun. I got to draw on the table and the waiter almost spilled my drink on me. We went back to the hotel after that and went to sleep. I was exhausted. Sunday we woke up and had breakfast and went to the rent house again. We cleaned it all out and did some finishing touches on the paint and got to show it to some people. We were on that side of town for almost 5 hours. I was ready to get back. Tonight Jennifer is cooking her signature sloppy joey's for us for our anniversary. She makes the best sloppy joey's ive ever had. She is also getting us a carrot cake. I cant wait. She better be getting me a cool gift with her new raise and bonus and all... :~)

OK...welcome back. If you are reading this, chances are you know my friend Jennifer. Well if that is not the case the I say welcome for the first time. This is my blog. I hate the word blog. I don't like the word "blog". I also don't like people who drive. Chances are if you drive I will not like you. You probably drive like a dumbass and are a menace to me on the road. I hate it when people have their blinker on and they have no intention of turning or switching lanes. These people are idiots. If you do this then you are an idiot. I don't mean to hurt your feelings but something has to be said. It has probably been said before, but I'm saying it again. Lady I think you are an idiot. I also hate people who drive hummers. Those people need to be hit with a corn husk. Corn is good. Fried corn from Black Eyed Pea is even better.
I make a lot of ear wax. I make more than most people. I have to clean my ears everyday. If I don't there is too much wax to get out and I have to use water to clean them out.
I hate it when I get out the shower and there is no towel. Sometimes I scream when this happens. I also don't like it when I get out of the shower and it is hot and I start to sweat. God damnit I just showered and now I'm sweating...I need to shower again. Fuck this!
I hate reality tv and the people that watch it.
I hate big gigantic churches and the people that go to them.

Well its almost 7am saturday morning. I went to bed early and woke up at 4 and took a shower and couldn't go back to sleep. I got bored so I got drunk. Blah Blah Blah. I will introduce myself I guess. For now, my name is Joey, I love music and my boyfriend. I have a wicked sense of humor (which gets me in trouble a lot of times). I speak my mind...always. I have a cat and she is mean. I have a boyfriend and he is gay. So am I. My best friends are Eric, Jennifer, and Jared. I love them. I have a great job and make lots of bling. :~) I drive a 2002 Isuzu Axiom...I was one of the first to have one....(I see them all the time now :~(....) I'm buying a house. I'm fat...(just big boned :~)) I like to play golf, even though I suck...(I have lots of cool expensive gear...but it dosen't help...lol) I think it's cool that you can put foil in a 500 degree oven and grab it...foil dosen't get hot. That's neat. Ohh bythe way, I'm a dork too. Probably the biggest one you have ever met :~).
